Meet Michael F. Miller, DMD
Dr. Michael F. Miller, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, comes from a family of dentists - his father was a general dentist in Philadelphia, and his brother and his son are also dentists. Dr. Miller and his wife Kate live in Syracuse and have three children, Alex, Daniel and Sara.
Before establishing his practice in Syracuse, Dr. Miller trained at the Philadelphia General Hospital and at the Division of Advanced Dental Education of the University of Pennsylvania where he earned a specialty degree in Oral Medicine and Clinical Investigation. He joined the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Oral Medicine and received a prestigious Career Development Award from the National Institute of Dental Research. His investigations and publications focused on oral ulcerations and the measurement of oral disease in clinical trials.
Dr. Miller is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and the Onodaga County Dental Association His interests include music (he plays the trumpet, piano, saxophone, and recorder), reading and travel.
